HAODQC is not a typical care facility — it is a home managed by the residents themselves. Our 12 residents, all living with quadriplegia or paraplegia, hold portfolios and run the Centre's operations together.
Located in Durbanville, we have provided permanent residential care, wheelchair-friendly accommodation, and 24-hour support since 1994.
Long-term stable housing for adults with physical disabilities who need daily support.
Residents hold real portfolios — Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and more.
All spaces designed for wheelchair users with accessible bathrooms and common areas.
Dedicated staff provide around-the-clock care so residents live safely at all times.
85% of our running costs are funded by the community. Without your support we cannot keep our doors open. Here are all the ways you can help.
