A registered structural engineer has confirmed serious floor settlement and wall cracking in our staff quarters. We urgently need the community's help — cash, building materials, skilled labour, and professional expertise.
Engineer: J.S. van Eeden (Pr. Eng.) · JVE Consulting · 7 April 2026
Our staff quarters — housing the care staff who look after our 12 residents 24 hours a day — have sustained significant structural damage. A registered professional engineer was called in to assess the building and has confirmed the severity of the problem.
Without functioning staff accommodation, we cannot maintain 24-hour care for our residents. This is an urgent matter that directly threatens the wellbeing of everyone at HAODQC.
