As a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930029333), donations to HAODQC may qualify for a Section 18A tax deduction under the Income Tax Act. We can issue a Section 18A receipt on request. Please consult your tax adviser to confirm eligibility for your specific circumstances.
All donations go directly to the Centre and are used for the operational running of HAODQC — covering staff wages, food, utilities, maintenance, transport, and resident care needs. No funds are used for administrative overheads beyond what is necessary to operate. The residents oversee all finances.
